Bulk A4 printing in Kenya: what it costs and how to order

Bulk A4 printing is for long runs of documents: questionnaires, survey and registration forms, exam papers, training handouts, minutes and reports. All-Pod prints them in black and white on 80gsm A4 bond in Nairobi, from 500 printed sheets per order.

What it costs

You pay per printed side, and the price includes the paper. Live price for the smallest order, a one-page document printed on one side:

KSh 1,252.50 for 500 Bulk A4 printing. Bulk A4 Bond 80G, one-sided, one distinct page, unlaminated, no additional finishing. Before applicable VAT and delivery.

Above 1,000 copies the rate per side drops. For a larger run:

KSh 5,845.00 for 2,500 Bulk A4 printing. Bulk A4 Bond 80G, one-sided, one distinct page, unlaminated, no additional finishing. Before applicable VAT and delivery.

Delivery is added at checkout from your location.

How sheets and sides are counted

• One side: each page of your file uses its own sheet. A 4-page form, 250 copies, uses 1,000 sheets.
• Both sides: two pages share a sheet, front and back. The same form uses 500 sheets.

Because you pay per printed side, both cost the same. Printing both sides uses half the paper and gives you a thinner, lighter stack to carry and file.

The 500-sheet minimum

An order needs at least 500 printed sheets: copies × sheets per copy. 50 copies of a 10-page report printed on one side qualifies (500 sheets); 100 copies of a one-page form does not. For smaller jobs, use Print a document.

Preparing your file

1. Export a PDF at A4 size (210 × 297 mm), with every page at A4.
2. Put the pages in printing order. For two-sided printing, page 1 is the front of the first sheet, page 2 its back, and so on.
3. Keep text and lines at least 5 mm from the edges. The sheets are printed at finished size and not trimmed, so nothing prints right to the edge.
4. Keep important text solid black. Light grey shading can print faint.
5. Check the page count before you upload: the price is worked out from it.

How to order

1. Open Bulk A4 printing and upload your PDF. The page count is read from the file.
2. Choose one side or both sides, and the number of copies. The price updates as you change them.
3. Pay by M-Pesa or card, approve your artwork, and the job goes to production.
